1. The Pope's Exorcist

This Halloween movie is inspired by Father Gabriele Amorth, one of the most respected exorcists in the world. He performed over 160,000 exorcisms during his career and wrote several books on the subject. On the one hand, the Pope’s Exorcist (2023) is full of jump scares. On the other hand, the suspense is built slowly until reaching the most terrifying scene, the exorcism scene, an example of Father Amorth’s work.

What is scared more than a little child claiming to be someone else? The one disappeared a long time ago, and is probably dead? Sarah is scared for her little daughter and herself. They live in a small town. Are they really alone in their house? Is there someone else?

Based on Stephen King’s novella, 1992 is a confession of a farmer, Wilfred, about the murder of his wife to his son, Hank.
In the sense of dread, 1992 paints a picture of a haunting farm. After the confession letter thirty years later, Wilfred disappears. Then Hank starts witnessing some disturbing phenomena. He will soon discover that his mother never left the farm, dead or alive.

Do you know your neighbors? Do you believe what you see? Because this movie will make you doubt it. And more than that, you become a liar because of speaking the truth.
After witnessing a crime in her neighbor’s house, Anna calls the police. Do you know the ending?
No evidence is found. No victim steps forward. Anna becomes a hallucinating mess, or liar, in the eyes of everyone.
